Gastro Oesophageal Reflux Disease and hiatus hernias

1 in 4 people in the UK have heartburn. Liver Reduction Diet before Upper Gastro-Intestinal Surgery

Your surgeon may ask you to go on a liver reduction diet  (LRD) for a specific period before surgery. The diet is designed to reduce the size of your liver to make surgery safer. The LRD should never be used for weight loss long term. You will receive a copy of the LRD if it applies to your treatment.
